Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-24
This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed on this website in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG/FADP).
1. Controller
IP Network Service GmbH Haldenstrasse 5, 6340 Baar, Switzerland Email: support@ipns.ch
IPNS Security is a brand of IP Network Service GmbH. No data protection officer has been appointed, as there is no legal obligation to do so.
2. No cookies, no tracking
This website uses no cookies and no analytics, tracking or advertising services. No profiling takes place. For this reason, no cookie banner is required.
Fonts are served locally from our own server (no connection to Google Fonts or other font services). Videos are hosted on our own server (no YouTube or Vimeo embeds). No content is loaded from third-party servers.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated on our own infrastructure in Germany. When you visit the website, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, transferred data volume, browser type and version (user agent) and the previously visited page (referrer).
Purpose and legal basis: ensuring fault-free operation, error analysis and defence against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest). Retention: server log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest, unless a security-relevant incident requires longer retention.
4. Contact form and email contact
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide (company, name, business email address, optional phone number, project details, message and optionally an uploaded PDF file) exclusively to handle your enquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (general communication). Mandatory fields are marked as such; all further details are voluntary (data minimisation). Retention: enquiry data is deleted once processing is complete, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. in the event of a subsequent contractual relationship) require otherwise. Security: transmission is exclusively TLS-encrypted. Form data is not written to URLs or server logs. For spam protection we use a privacy-friendly mechanism without third-party services and without cookies (an invisible form field and a signed timestamp).
5. Email delivery via Google Workspace
For sending and receiving business email — including the delivery of form enquiries and confirmation messages — we use Google Workspace provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as a processor on the basis of a data processing agreement (Google Cloud Data Processing Addendum).
Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; EU standard contractual clauses additionally apply.
6. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Personal data is only passed on to the processors named in this policy (hosting infrastructure in Germany, Google Workspace) and only to the extent required for the purposes described.
The controller is domiciled in Switzerland. The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for Switzerland; transfers of data from the EU to the controller in Switzerland are therefore permissible.
7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). Corresponding rights also apply under the Swiss revDSG (in particular access under Art. 25 FADP).
To exercise your rights, an informal message to support@ipns.ch is sufficient.
Right to lodge a complaint: you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority — in the EU, the authority of your habitual residence; in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
8. No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
9. Changes
We will update this privacy policy if the legal situation or our processing operations change. The version published here applies.
