IPNS Security is the consulting brand of IP Network Service GmbH, based in Baar (Switzerland) — a team of 25 for network architecture, network security, modernisation, databases and the analysis of security-relevant events.

Who we are

IPNS Security is the consulting brand of IP Network Service GmbH, based in Baar (Switzerland). We advise companies, corporate groups, public-sector clients and IT service providers in Germany and Switzerland — wherever networks are mission-critical and outages or security incidents have real consequences.

Our standard is deliberately calm: we listen, analyse thoroughly and only recommend what we can justify technically. No product sales, no black box — just traceable work that can still be audited years later.

Senior expertise at the core

Behind IPNS Security stands a team of 25 — network, security, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, VPN, mobile working, databases: everything from A to Z from one source. It is led by a vendor-certified Senior Network & Security Consultant (Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent, Huawei) with professional practice since 1984 — more than four decades in enterprise networks, datacenters and security-critical communication infrastructures.

This seniority means in practice: we have not only designed networks, but stabilised, migrated, hardened and documented them under pressure — in environments where “trial and error” is not an option.

How we work

  • Analysis before recommendation. Understand first, change second — every recommendation has a technical rationale.
  • Documentation instead of black boxes. Results are handed over so your team can operate, audit and evolve them.
  • Confidentiality as standard. We treat client data, architectures and incidents strictly confidentially — with an NDA on request.
  • Clear communication. From first enquiry to handover: defined contacts, realistic commitments, no surprises.

Service area

We are based in Baar, Canton of Zug; our team works from Germany and Switzerland — for clients across Europe. Remote work is the rule today; we come on-site when the project requires it.
